Aerolabz — Where Curiosity Takes Flight

Who we are

We are a Nairobi‑born aviation STEM studio turning classroom curiosity into hands‑on confidence.

Rooted in Nairobi, Aerolabz grew from a simple idea: make flight an accessible way to teach science, engineering and creativity. We design short, in‑person workshops and school visits for Year 4–Year 13 learners that combine guided experiments, model building and mentor‑led reflection so students learn by doing.

Today we run regular studio sessions, outreach programs across counties, and school partnerships that align with classroom goals. Each program emphasizes iterative problem‑solving — sketch, build, test, tweak — so learners leave with a working model, the data they collected, and the confidence to try again.

Our approach

Our Mission
Ignite curiosity through hands‑on aviation STEM that builds confident thinkers and early makers.

We deliver in‑person, mentor‑led workshops where Year 4–13 learners design, test and iterate — learning aerodynamics, circuitry and design thinking through playful, project‑based experiences rooted in Nairobi and county outreach.

Our Vision
A future where young people discover agency through making — equipped with skills to solve real problems.

We aim to be the local hub for practical STEM learning in Nairobi and beyond: partnering with schools and communities to bring regular, curriculum‑aligned workshops that strengthen collaboration, creativity and measurable learning outcomes.

OUR PARTNERS

Our impact by the numbers

Since our Nairobi beginnings, Aerolabz has steadily expanded hands‑on STEM learning across classrooms and communities — turning curiosity into measurable outcomes through in‑person workshops, school partnerships and county outreach.
